kdo jde? (kdojde.cz) and kto ide? (ktoide.sk) are services for creating and sharing events — private celebrations and commercial events alike. This page explains what personal data we process, why, and for how long.

What data this covers

We summarise the data we process when you use the service: from what you enter in forms, through technical records, to sending content for automated review. You can use the services for private gatherings, friends’ meetups, and commercial events. This text is meant to be clear and transparent — it is not a substitute for individual legal advice.

Form and account data

When you create an event, we store the details you provide (title, time, location, description, and related fields). When you RSVP, we store your name and attendance status. If you sign in with Google, Seznam, or an email link, we process the email and name from your account. We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other data beyond what sign-in requires.

Technical records when you create an event

For newly created events we may store technical connection data: your IP address, the User-Agent header, and an estimated country or region (for example from our hosting provider). Purposes: abuse prevention, operational security, and — where the law requires — cooperation with public authorities. We do not display this data publicly in the app; access is technically restricted.

Automated content checks (AI moderation)

Before an event is published, we may automatically check text from the form (e.g. title, description, organiser, place, and time) using an external AI model. Inference runs via OpenRouter; the model may be provided by Anthropic or another supplier. Purposes: protecting users and meeting the operator’s obligations regarding unlawful or harmful content. We do not use AI for advertising profiling.

Cookies, analytics, and email

We use functional cookies to manage your events and sign-in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies for cross-site tracking. We use a privacy-oriented tool for anonymous traffic statistics and a separate tool for technical errors. We only send you emails related to your events — management links, reminders, changes. We do not send newsletters or marketing without your consent; you can unsubscribe using the link in any email.

Who we share data with

We process personal data ourselves and only share it with categories of processors necessary to operate the service:

  • Hosting and database services (EU)
  • Anonymous website analytics (EU)
  • Application error tracking and performance monitoring (EU)
  • Transactional email delivery (EU and US)
  • Automated content moderation (EU and US)

We do not provide any processor with data for training artificial intelligence models or for any purpose other than operating our service.

Some processors are located outside the EU/EEA. Transfers are carried out under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). A complete list of processors is available on request at ahoj@kdojde.cz.

How long we keep data

We plan to keep records related to content moderation and technical audit data for new events for about twelve months, then delete or anonymise them unless the law requires longer retention. Other data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service and in line with your requests (for example after account deletion).

Legal bases

Processing is based on:

  • Legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — service security, abuse prevention, and protecting others (including AI moderation and audit logging).
  • Performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — data necessary to provide the service (creating events, RSVP).
  • Legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — where required by the Digital Services Act (2022/2065) and Czech Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services.

For automated content review you may request human review of the decision (Article 22 GDPR). Write to ahoj@kdojde.cz.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18), and data portability (Article 20). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). For solely automated decisions with legal or similar effects, you have the right to human review (Article 22).

To exercise your rights, contact ahoj@kdojde.cz. If you are unhappy with how we process your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

If you sign out or delete your account, we remove sign-in data. Anonymous RSVP records (name only, no email) may remain with an event if they cannot reasonably be linked to a person.

Operator

The services are operated by an individual registered in the Czech Republic as a self-employed person. Identifying details will be provided on request at ahoj@kdojde.cz.
